We were wandering around North Park with a hankering for a pastry, and we ran into this new pop-up at the Thursday farmer's market! They have the best croissants in San Diego, and by a long shot too. I have three favorite items from their menu ... The apple danish has thinly sliced fruit that's still tart, along with a layer of delicious cream. The miniature Sicily cream puff is a work of art and an explosion of perfectly balanced flavor. And the prosciutto sandwich -- a great baguette, and with such a generous slathering of excellent butter!
